Hug Japan is a non-profit organization aiming to support the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake through activities related to art and design.
Blondes Make Better T-Shirts printed a range of limited edition t-shirts with illustrations made by children from the 311 tsunami and nuclear-affected areas of Northeastern Japan.
The illustrations are an expression of what these children experienced during the disaster and their emotions felt in the aftermath. Damage caused by the radiation still continues, and many children go to school in towns with high contamination.
100% of the proceeds from the shirts went directly to Hug Japan to help the people of this region reclaim their lives.
